| According to the 1990 U.S. Census, the Byzantine-Latino
Quarter's average number of 3.7 persons per household is significantly
higher than the Los Angeles County's average of 2.9 persons per household.
Nineteen percent of the Byzantine-Latino Quarter's households were composed
of 1 person in 1990, compared to 25 percent of the county's households.
In contrast, thirty-one percent of the quarter's households were composed
of five or more persons, compared to the regional figure of 17 percent
(see Table 1). |
