Professors Ong and Valenzuela share their big UCLA ideas on KCET

As part of its partnership with KCET to introduce the station's new “SoCal Connection” program covering civic affairs, UCLA has produced seven spots featuring UCLA faculty, and a UCLA Medical School student, talking talking about their research and the amazing work they’re doing to improve the lives of everyone in Southern California.
Professor Paul Ong talks about his current project with the State of California on housing toward the year 2025. Professor Abel Valenzuela talks about demystifying the day laborer market and taking a community approach to creation of worker centers.
