Profile
Patricia Halliwell
Patricia Halliwell graduated in August 2005 from the University of Southern California Leonard Davis School of Gerontology with a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology. Prior to this she worked in the health care industry for 13 years. Watching her father slowly deteriorate from Alzheimer’s disease opened her eyes to an area of need. With her two children now grown, she was inspired to return to college to obtain an education where she could make the greatest impact on the quality of lives of older adults and their families, particularly those that were suffering with Alzheimer’s disease. She is currently a graduate student in gerontology and occupational therapy at the University of Southern California. She was born in Los Angeles and resides in Long Beach with her husband of 30 years. Upon completion of her graduate studies, she plans on devoting her practice to working with older adults.
