Michelle Mrdeza is staff director for the Subcommittee on Treasury, Postal Service and General Government for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations. She manages a $24 billion appropriations bill, which provides annual funding for the Internal Revenue Service, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, the Customs Service, the White House, the Office of National Drug Control Policy, the Federal Election Commission, the Postal Service and the General Services Administration. She coordinates the subcommittee’s legislative priorities with Republican leadership, other standing committees of the House, and the Administration.
