The UCLA JJRP is partnering with Los Angeles County to write a comprehensive blueprint for young offender reentry. Los Angeles County is one of three sites to receive a Department of Labor Planning Grant of 300,000 to create this type of blueprint. The UCLA JJRP received generous support from the Parson’s Foundation over two years to conduct field and training opportunities for our graduate students. Look for events, speakers, a juvenile justice policy class in the spring taught by Professor Jorja Leap. Victoria Perera is the first MSW student to receive a Parson’s Foundation JJRP scholarship of 5,000 for her work in the juvenile reentry field. For more on Victoria click here.
